By giving to the United Way of Cumberland County, we come together as a community to support our local nonprofits, and allow them to focus instead on serving those in need.
14 local programs are funded each year, through an intensive application process, plus dozens more through our Youth Growth Stock Trust administration. Each year, tens of thousands receive help thanks to United Way donors!
The Dolly Parton Imagination Library is one supported program. Through it, children age 0 to 5 receive free books each month in their mailbox, creating a love of reading at a young age. By the time they turn 5, they have built up their own mini library of 60 books and are ready for kindergarten!
